Older Honda Motorcycle Key Codes

Most Honda motorcycle key codes begin with a letter 'A' through 'D' followed by two numbers. For example, the key code might be A54. However, on many older Honda motorcycles from 1983 and earlier key code formats were three numbers. For example, 111 is a key code found on a 1982 Honda CB650. You can see the actual lock in the picture below with 111 stamped on the lock. The key code is part of a longer string of characters with the letters GJ preceding it.
