This remote is manufactured by Kaba Ilco, the largest automotive key blank manufacturer in North America. This remote is designed to be identical to the OEM remote but without any General Motors logo's or trademarks. This remote is comparable in quality to the OEM remote, but at a reduced price.

The battery and key ring are included with the remote. The battery is pre-installed. This remote does require your dealership or locksmith to configure or 'program' your car to recognize the new remote. There is no way to add the remote to your car without professional diagnostic tools.
